The everyday Essentials Porridge Oats is a healthy and glutten free meal. It can be eaten any time of the day.
It is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
How to prepare
- Place 40g (or any quantity) of porridge oats into a saucepan.
- Add 285ml of water/milk and stir.
- Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 - 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the heat, stir and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
- Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout.
- Do not reheat.
- Microwave: Place 40g of porridge oats into a large microwaveable bowl.
- Add 285ml of water/milk and stir.
- Do not cover, cook on full power for the time specified, stirring half way through.
- Stir and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.
